As part of efforts towards addressing violence against women and girls to promote community wellbeing in Nigeria, Child and Youth Protection Foundation (CYPF) as partners with the TOSTAN, participated in a 3 weeks advanced seminar with the the TOSTAN training centre in Senegal from the 21st February – 11th March 2022.
This seminar was aimed at building the capacity of civil society organizations, religious platforms and network in Nigeria on the TOSTAN training models on addressing the issue of violence against women and girls; a community approach that has a proven record of its effectiveness in other countries.
The seminar also helped to unite CSOs working in the region and exchange best practices in their area of work.
