RUTH ATAGUBA

- Board Chair

The board chairperson, a development Consultant and Researcher with substantial experience in national and regional Policy analysis and development.

Currently involved in training and development functions in the areas of legal frameworks; Simplification of laws; Child Policy, Protection, and Development. My academic interests are in Human Rights Law and Environmental law.

OGUNSAKIN BABAJIDE

- Board Member

Responsible for M&E at Child and Youth Protection Foundation. He is a highly motivated and results-oriented development enthusiast with an admirable balance of technical knowledge, practical experience, and personal values, with a proven track record in project development, monitoring and evaluation, data collection, coordination, research, strategic reviews, leadership, and management as well as community mobilization and experience with stakeholders engagement.

Margaret Adeyeye

- Policy & Partnership

A board Member saddle with responsibility on policy & partnership. She is a Director, Guidance and Counselling, Secondary Education Board, FCT.

Lydia Eke

- Programs

A board member saddle with responsibility on programs. She is a seasoned project management expert and interpreter.

According to the ACERWC Guidelines, meaningful child participation includes:

-Giving feedback on how a child’s views were used
-Ensuring children feel seen, heard, and valued

Yet, in many spaces, we still confuse performance with power.
Real participation means:

- Giving children access to information
- Ensuring their views are taken seriously
