The International Youth Day for this year focuses on GREEN SKILLS for sustainable development.
There’s a need for a transition, both in production and consumption, to a more sustainable method.
In order to do this, there’s a need for skills; both technical and transverse, which presents an opportunity for Youths to explore in economic, social, and environmental aspects.
You can have opportunities in any of these areas summarized into engineering, science, management, and monitoring, which are needed for the GREEN TRANSFORMATION.
These areas include (not limited to) renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, green transformation expertise, education, water conservation, waste management (from inception to disposal), ICT, trainer, communications, experimental, etc.
Any of these areas one chooses to explore is a huge opportunity because the world is going green and these skills will be needed.
Let’s go green!
